Legal Notice — Penalties Apply
A facility must not dispose of solid/liquid waste or emit air pollutants without a permit under Part 5, EMA 2005. Maximum fine: $250,000 + 3 years imprisonment (first offence). Body corporate: 5× the fine. Fee: FJD $102.22 payable to Environment Trust Account, Westpac #9802022948.

  • The particulars set out in this application are true to the best of my knowledge and belief;
  • I hereby apply for a waste disposal permit(s) for the facility in accordance with the Environment Management Act 2005;
  • I apply for a hazardous waste endorsement on the permit (if required);
  • I agree to provide access to the facility premises by environmental inspectors; not to dispose of waste except as permitted; and to pay applicable fees;
  • I understand that failure to comply may result in an immediate Fixed Penalty of $1,000 and other penalties under EMA 2005.
